The 2026 INDE.Awards: Celebrating 10 Years of Design Excellence

The INDE.Awards 2026 marks a significant milestone, celebrating 10 years of recognising excellence in architecture and design across the Indo-Pacific.
Celebrated in Melbourne on July 30, 2026, the gala event brought together leading architects, designers and industry professionals to honour the trophy winners and honourable mention recipients whose creativity, innovation and ambition continue to establish the Indo-Pacific as one of the world's most dynamic design regions.
This year saw more than 550 entries across a range of categories, reflecting the bold, visionary and innovative nature of architecture and design – from buildings and interiors to products, photography and emerging talent.

The Luminary award recognises excellence across a career in design and celebrates the contribution of industry icons. Each year four Luminaries are nominated and showcased across Indesign Media Asia Pacific platforms and accorded the highest of all accolades, that of being named a Luminary. Each Luminary sets an example for us all and they are truly an inspiration to be honoured.
The 2026 Luminaries represent some of the most respected and influential voices in architecture and design across the Indo-Pacific:
- Angelene Chan – Executive Chairman, DP Architects (DPA), Singapore.
- David Teh – Founder and Director, Pakatan Reka Arkitek (PRA), Malaysia.
- Kerstin Thompson – Director and Principal, Kerstin Thompson Architects (KTA), Australia.
- Sonali Rastogi and Manit Rastogi – Founding Partners, Morphogenesis, India.
Representing Woven Image, Cathleya Buchanan, General Manager of Sales, proudly presented the 2026 Luminaries on stage at the Melbourne gala. Among those in attendance were Angelene Chan and Kerstin Thompson, who accepted their Luminary honours in person, making the celebration of their outstanding contributions to architecture and design even more memorable.
Through decades of leadership, innovation and advocacy, these luminaries have played an instrumental role in advancing architecture and design throughout the region. Their careers exemplify the vision, dedication and excellence that The Luminary award was created to celebrate.
