A new collection transforms expressive artwork into immersive, acoustic interior finishes.

Woven Image introduces a new collection developed in collaboration with Australian artist Ben Goss. A collaboration that brings together artistic expression and acoustic innovation, bridging art and interior solutions.

A mural-scale centrepiece

At the heart of the collection is EchoPanel® Kookaburra, an original artwork reimagined at scale, derived from the piece called Where the Kookaburra Sits.

Rich in colour and layered with botanical-inspired motifs, Kookaburra is defined by expressive brushwork and depth of pigment. The original painting has been carefully scanned and reproduced onto EchoPanel® 12mm, transforming it into a three-panel mural spanning 3.5 metres wide and 2.7 metres high.

Dark, considered tones are punctuated by moments of pink and white, creating a composition that feels both grounded and alive. Rich in texture and movement, the surface carries the artist’s hand through its tactility, while subtly softening sound within the space.

Serving as both artwork and acoustic treatment, Kookaburra anchors commercial spaces with a strong visual presence, setting the tone for the collection.

Interpreting the artwork

Four complementary patterns have emerged from elements within the original painting Where the Kookaburra Sits and reimagined for versatility across interior applications.

EchoPanel® Sprig introduces a bold, graphic rhythm. Its organic pattern brings an energetic, landscape-inspired quality to interiors, offering movement and contrast through tonal variation.

EchoPanel® Dapple is lighter in expression – soft, diffused and quietly atmospheric. Clusters of delicate marks form botanical motifs, creating an airy surface that enhances a space without overwhelming it.

EchoPanel® Canopy moves into a deep and structured territory. Rich in tone and layered with denser forms, the design feels grounded and architectural, suited to larger applications.

EchoPanel® Starview offers a more minimal interpretation. Drawing from the gestural strokes and framing elements of the original work, it introduces subtle depth and movement.

A shared language of material and meaning

Each design is realised using EchoPanel® and is available in a curated palette derived from the Kookaburra artwork. Together, they allow designers to layer pattern, tone and texture throughout a space. The result is a collection that absorbs sound but also engages senses bringing softness, visual interest and a connection to nature.
