Double win for the Embossed Panel Series
We are delighted (quite giddy actually) to have picked up not one, but two international design awards this month for our Embossed Acoustic Panels, Zen and Ion, at the Dezeen Awards and the FX International Design Awards 2020.
The Dezeen Awards are known for identifying the world's best architecture, interiors and design, and calls for entries that are beautiful, innovative and beneficial. This year they attracted an incredible 4,300 entries from over 85 countries across 5 continents.
We are truly honoured to have brought home the award for Workplace Design 2020, for our innovative new 3D wall panel collection, which also won the public vote, demonstrating the broad appeal of these designs.
The uniqueness of the design was observed instantly by the Dezeen Award judges who said:
"In this instance, there was an attempt to define the space in sculptural terms and also give the product tactility."
The collections many admirable features came together harmoniously, appreciating “the way the acoustics and the aesthetics were combined”.
At the prestigious FX Awards, which invites both British and international design talent to enter the very best of interior products and projects, we secured a win in the ‘Surfaces’ category. Organised by FX magazine, the coveted FX Awards are one of the highlights of the design industry calendar. The innovative designs were also widely praised by the judges at the FX Awards, with the group commenting that the collection comprises,
"an elegant product with good sustainability credentials”.
Made from over 60% recycled PET, each panel produced diverts 235 single-use plastic bottles from global landfill and waterways.
