A series of premium speculative suites and a shared amenity environment have been delivered on Level 14 of the Poly Centre at 210–220 George Street, a commercial tower in Sydney’s northern CBD.
The brief called for flexible, contemporary suites that could respond to evolving workplace expectations while maintaining the building’s established quality standards. Level 14 now features a half floor suite supported by a versatile shared zone incorporating conference rooms, an event space, a kitchenette and a variety of informal gathering areas. An existing void between floors – originally intended for interconnecting stairs before the suites were divided – has been reimagined as a central architectural light feature, enhancing openness and visual connection throughout the precinct.
Access technology was carefully integrated into the operable walls to support the shared amenity model, enabling users to book, secure and verify spaces efficiently. Construction staging and coordination ensured continued access for leasing representatives and prospective tenants.
The shared environment has been designed as a flexible, connected space capable of supporting meetings, events, presentations, collaborative sessions and wellness activities. Modular furniture and adaptable layouts allow seamless transitions between yoga classes, town halls and formal presentations. Integrated audiovisual and smart technologies enhance productivity, while tiered seating, lounge zones, operable acoustic walls, table tennis and an on-site kitchen contribute to comfort and usability. The palette is calm and welcoming, with muted grey greens, light oak and cork introducing warmth, balanced by cool greys and creams for a refined, understated backdrop.
An Array 24mm ceiling baffle system in colours 500 Off White, 580 Sage and 908 Cream defines the open plan area, combining acoustic performance with sculptural presence. Its organic Valley profile introduces subtle shadows and pastel tones. The system provides both acoustic control and service access, with particular attention given to the view from below to support the space’s regular yoga use.

Sustainability principles were embedded throughout the project, including the reuse of existing base building elements and a proactive approach to waste management and recycling. The result is a sophisticated, efficient and flexible workplace offering that enhances the Poly Centre’s appeal and meets the needs of a diverse tenant market.
